I wavered between giving this three or four stars, but I did enjoy it, for the most part, so four it is. Most of it was an interesting, engaging story set in Ireland, with flashbacks to Iran at the time of the revolution against the Shah. However, the ending spoiled it for me a little, as it was just a bit too contrived and convenient. Overall though, a good story and easy to read. I see the author has written a sequel, Rosewater and Soda Bread and I enjoyed this book enough to seek that one out too.
